A Universal Pictures divulgou imagens inéditas do documentário musical “Iron Maiden: Burning Ambition”, que estreia nos cinemas brasileiros em 7 de maio. Os ingressos já estão à venda.
Dirigido por Malcolm Venville, o filme apresenta a trajetória da banda britânica de heavy metal que marcou o cenário musical a partir dos anos 1980. A produção reúne materiais de arquivo e registros pessoais do grupo, além de sequências animadas do mascote Eddie e conteúdos que mostram a relação da banda com seus fãs ao redor do mundo.
O documentário acompanha a ascensão do Iron Maiden desde apresentações em pubs no leste de Londres até shows em grandes estádios. O longa também inclui depoimentos de integrantes da banda e de fãs, como o ator Javier Bardem, o baterista Lars Ulrich e o rapper e escritor Chuck D.

Fundada em 1975 pelo baixista Steve Harris, a banda construiu uma carreira com mais de 100 milhões de discos vendidos e cerca de 2.500 apresentações em 64 países, trajetória que serve de base para o documentário. Ao longo desse percurso, o grupo acumulou prêmios como Grammy e Brit Award e protagonizou turnês marcadas pelo uso do avião Ed Force One, pilotado pelo vocalista Bruce Dickinson.
Além da trajetória musical, o documentário chega em um momento simbólico para a banda. Em 2025, o Iron Maiden completou 50 anos de formação, marco celebrado com a turnê mundial “Run For Your Lives” e o lançamento de produtos comemorativos, incluindo um livro oficial de história visual.
